X-Fine Great Raptor-Like Struthiomimus (Bird Mimic) Large 15.5" Metatarsal from Montana

Species: Struthiomimus altus

Species description: 6 ft high raptor that was 11 ft long that was called bird mimic due to some resemblance of certain parts as birds that existed earlier than ornithomimus and hunted small mammals, insects, lizards, and ate leaves also.

Geological formation: Hell Creek Formation

Geological period: Late Cretaceous 70-66.5MYA

Item location: Powder River Area, SE Montana

Item description and rating: 12+ Large  Rare Struthiomimus (Bird Mimic Dinosaur) 15.5" Metatarsal from Montana. This is a large example of the running dinosaur's placement of normally a foot bone but this is part of lower leg attached to first foot bone and very valuable. It is very dark in color due to soil and found on private land with their permission. It was bought from a rancher and had a few breaks but was crack filled and sealed so it is extra strong I puit a lot opf penetrant sealant which solidifies the bone even though it is very expensive to use. I have only had a few of these, and they sold immediately. The color is evident of a underground find and its shape is extra good with only a small area of some compression. I know the buyer will have years of enjoyment, and this  is a buy. This is larger than my other ones ,so this was a large strut.

SUPREME Packy Full Skeleton Mongolian PRENOCEPHALE

Species: Prenocephale (Asian Packycephalosaurus)

Species decription: 8' long maximum packycephhalosaurus from Mongolia that was a truly bulbous dome bonehead dinosaur with a row of bony spikes and bumps surrounded the skull. It weighed about 130 kilograms and females – as this one - had smaller thinner skulls than the males. Like other boneheads, Prenocephale had large eyes and a keen sense of smell. It lived in upland forests, browsing on leaves and fruits. The hard skull denotes a head-butting habit between rival males and last member to exist before the extinction event - mostly known from skulls. It is related to the Asian packycephalosaur Homalocephale even though it had a rounded sloping skull while Homalocephale had a flattened wedge-shaped skull.

Geologic strata: Nemegt Formation

Geologic Period: Late Cretaceous 70-66.5 MYA (Maastrichian stage)

Item Location: Mongolia

Item description and rating: 12+++++ One-&-Only Packycephosarid  Prenocephale Almost Complete Skeleton (Only complete one ever found) from Mongolia  and measures 5.25 Ft long with all bones intact and perfect skull and almost for sure a female. This is the most fantastic find of the dinosaur world in Asia due to completeness. Of course only for top collectors or a museum.  Many bones completely articulated and found together with one pic of where it was found unprepped. Only a lower jaw, forefoot, and hind foot is missing Now completely prepped and this animal probably weighed about 100 kilograms. This piece is impossible to describe adequately and I will let pictures do the talking Unreal find and truly a marvel of the world of dinosaurs. What a dinosaur. Get a large whole dinosaur at a price that is actually cheap or would you prefer to spend 3 million on another not much bigger.

Fantastic Very Special Large 16" Triceratops Full Braincase w/ Occipital and Large Forehead Frill Section

Species: Triceratops horridus

Species description: Large 11 ton herbivore with frill around 6.5 ft head and 1 nose horn with 2 Brow Horns off frill.

Period: Cretaceous Period 70-66.5MYA

Geological strata: Hell Creek Formation

Location: Livingston, Montana

Item rating and description: 12+++ Very Special HUGE Triceratops Full  Brain Case with Forehead Frill and Occipital  attached. This piece weighs about 40Lbs. It was found with 2 horns and skull parts.  I was delighted to find this of upmost bone quality with all the details and ridges of this piece. Quality, color, and detail is so great on this one. It is heavy and allows you to have a rare piece and not take up too much space for a huge animal. Imagine a brain case with actual outer head frill attached which actually would attach to other skull piece I have at site below this one. The size of this animal had to be huge. You will like this piece, and to me it's like a work of art. It was sealed very well though and it should be very secure  after using much penetrant sealant to seal. It can display only on one side due to attachments so they don’t break. Some matrix had to be kept on to secure the frill piece in this great pose. If removed it would not show like this. It would be 2 pieces. Some other matrix is left attached also for stability with all the attachments to keep them secure. It is brown black with excellent bone quality. The pictures show what a treat this is. No restore just crack fill. My last brain case was only 14 inches long and it sold for $1239 so you get the large frill piece and a larger braincase for only.
