ULTRA NICE HUGE DIAMETER 25" LONG 28" TRICERATOPS BROW HORNSpecies: Triceratops horridus Species description: Large 11 ton herbivore with frill around 6.5 ft head and 1 nose horn with 2 Brow Horns off frill. Period: Cretaceous Period 70-66.5 MYA Geologic strata: Hell Creek formation Item Location: Glendive, Montana Item description & rating: 1-12- 12+ Beautiful Bulky 28" Long Old Triceratops Brow Horn. This horn has a diameter of 25" (Bulkiest I ever had) and belonged to a Old Male Triceratops and they said these dinosaurs lived probably 100 years old. It has a base and tip that is simply amazing in size and quality with a nice brown color lighter as it goes towards the tip, and tip is light as it was found on top of ground. The back half was found underground by the tip. It has many crack fills as it was in pieces but tip for at least 10 inches was whole. Originality is about 95% with little restoration. Bone quality is very good to excellent. It has a great morphology. Horns are much more expensive for us to buy and rarer to find as this year much fewer were found especially thick ones like this. It was sealed a lot with penetrant sealant which protects and makes secure in packing. This sealant is extremely expensive and this horn took awhile to present in current condition. The pieces were meticulously put on towards the back of horn, and it turned out so well. The monster horn is very strong and it should never break even though it is extremely heavy. It is professionally prepped well with a super tip with nice shape and texture. It is fine representation of one of the most fascinating of the dinosaurs who could kill TREX. This one probably killed a few REXes in its time. Horn are so hard to get especially one in this condition, but I did get a better price on this one so it's yours for... Huge Triceratops 51" Ischium Pelvic BoneSpecies: Triceratops horridus Species description: Large 11 ton herbivore with frill around 6.5 ft head and 1 nose horn with 2 Brow Horns off frill. Dakota Item description and rating: 11 X -Rare & Monster Over 51" Pelvic Triceratops Ischium found by a top dinosaur hunter which is really super in color, length, and bone texture with color dark brown as it was an underground find -the best type due to excellent condition which results from under the ground . Bone quality is superb for much of bone except a small portion of one end. This larger bone area was prepped as found with one bone distortions of a longer bone instead of more, bulker compared normal shape as my other ischium. It is so huge it will take a special box as one over 48" is hard to find . The other parts of this are actually excellent. These bones due to narrowness are really rare to find and this is my second one. This is a treat and I had twin that sold already that was smaller For you trike enthusiasts this is a keeper. I love trikes and this is a piece you must have. You can buy the display for $65 more on this one. Not the best but rare item that overlall is a huge quality bone as long as you can live with one end that has some restore and misshape 65.5 years of pressure can take its toll. This egg was found on the Southern Sands of Madagascar in fragments , and what truly defines this egg it is at least 75% from the same bird egg. It’s impossible to find all fragments from same egg so anything over 50% is considered very good so this is top premium as none known have ever been from the same egg. These take someone very talented and a long time to painstakenly put these together . There is only repair so all is original egg shell painstakingly glued together with many man hours to show a perfectly shaped egg .It is very, very solid and some color change shows how this is mostly the same egg.
