Item rating and description: 12 Excellent condition Part Of Back Lower Skull Sub-Adult Smilodon Fatalis from the real king of beasts –the Smilodon at a Discount . The dimensions are4 “ by 4”. The rareness alone of any Smilodon material make this a top collector piece, but to have nice part of a skull at such a great price is a chance of a lifetime. No restoration , beautiful color and parts of back skull present. Brain cavity present partially present with NO compression or distortions , as well as occipital condyle present. The interior sinus area is extra fine. Keep in mind the last Smilodon sold for $380,000 with the front teeth, and this back is by far the best you will ever see if you ever see one . IT even has no repairs, and is so pristine and smooth it is hard to believe how solid it still is. It is same species that is found in LaBrea Tar pits. You know how valuable this is .
