Item description & rating:  12Unbelieveably BEAUTIFUL  FULLY INFLATED HUGE  17.5”   MALE  SABERTOOTH Asian Smilodon Highly Original Est. 95% including 100% of all teeth. These are so rare to get one fully inflated as it looks exactly like when it lived, as almost all are distorted through compression .  The color while usual is really awesome also .I  now have 2 of them, and have one in my personal collection, and this is the only other one I have ever seen. This even appears larger than my one in my personal collection as its wider at zygos .  The front of skull on it looks great with all teeth aligned perfectly, which passes the biggest test and any angle it looks great. IM sending many pictures for you to analyze  but to view this as a whole makes it  so awesome . Even the parts are great in this also The few areas of restore were rounding the lower connection points and one process  on back of lower jaws , rounding the saggital crest  in  very back , and area on left side just behind the eye for you analysts out there. I prefer to think of the 95 % that is perfect , the fantastic prep job in creating the almost perfect cat. Not to mention the 100% teeth. There is no compositing on this cat anywhere. So combined with fully inflated and excellent bone quality, I doubt you would ever find a better specimen except in my personal collection , so I would not wait on this one . I’m now considering selling my great one and keeping this so better act fast .It was purchased here in USA , and prepped by the world’s foremost professional . AS my other one there really are no words to express my wonder and appreciation of this splendid  extinct animal . Cats are my thing and I hope someone will appreciate it the way I do or I will not sell it . If you really think the price is too high your not  giving this it’s fair due . A true appreciator will think its undervalued  as I do .

Price :  $79,999 Firm

The last Mach this size that was even  compressed went for $106,000 at auction with premium.

Top Segment Devoted to a knowing cat authority , while actually considered by himself an “amateur paleontologist” is my friend , John Babiarz.  The new book is  soon to come out featuring the “Osteology and Myology” of Homotheres plus information on one of most important discoveries in the last 20 years in the area of saber-cats, the Xenosmilus hodsonae saber-cat -only species known of this rare creature .

What a find - only 2 cats with a bunch of pigs in a cave Florida and  one is at the University of Florida . It was I who photographed the specimen for your viewing pleasure. For all cat enthusiasts please get in your order soon through Amazon.com.  The Xenosmilus lived 1 million years ago and where about 1.8 meters long. It possessed stout muscular legs and short Broad upper canines  which broke the mold of all previous species groupings so it has one by itself under Machairodontinae .  I also know one of other main writers Larry Martin from Kansas U, and between the two most foremost authorities  on this subject provides an exciting book.  This book is a must for cat lovers to understand the mysteries of past treasures. I owe much to one of authors for providing much information to me through the past year.

Highly Original  Beautiful Mounted OPEN MOUTH  Rare Metailurus  Major  Saber-Tooth Cat 8”” Skull

Species:  Metailurus  major  saber-tooth cat

Species description:  Sabercat larger than metailurus minor  from genus machairodontine saber-tooth cats that belong to tribe metalurini  that lived in Asia and Europe 15-8 MYA . Known as false saber-cat because it had a cross between long flat saber-teeth and shorter cone-shaped teeth of modern felines and many believed it evolved to modern day cheetah. IT lived earlier than metailurus minor and while minor lived 9-6 MYA so it lived longer but much rarer to find .  I’ve only seen 2 of these , while minor are the most common saber –tooth cat. It was closely related to dinofelis . Its canines were slightly larger than dinofelis  and was very stocky in build . Both cats had forearms more heavily built than the hind limbs.

Geological strata:

Geological period: 15-8 MYA

Item location:  C. Asia

Item rating and description: 12 ++ Metailurus Major Saber-tooth CAT   OPEN MOUTH 8” Skull Very  RARE  with all original Teeth including 2  sabers 1.5” long  with incisors  and molars . The teeth are really  nice with only a slight amount of repair on two molars(molar shape not spectacular due to breakage  but OK)  and a few glued back after out of jaws. All the front teeth are original and spectacular which is the most important piece of the animal . The skull is overt 90 % original with crack fills and even has most of back of lower jaws. This was easy to spot any restore as the color, was white of the mostly crack fills. The back of skull is almost  perfect with all attachments including condyles  , and 80% of each zygo original which is unheard of . The skull is absolutely beautiful color in the specimen .Open mouth makes it very valuable , and just plain eloquent .. .The color has dark spots(Gray) on dirty white-beige skull . It comes with a wooden base and its attached in back of lower jaw to upper jaw. IT can be shipped  with the top of skull down with mouth protected .. Sources say these cats are impossible to find now but minors are still much  more common and other saber cats but rare overall as only a 1 % of fossils found are carnivores, and there are many types of carnivores so cats are under 3% of all fossils found .  Almost all matrix is removed except a few areas towards the back for stability. The teeth show up very well. MY goal is to get every  type sabercat in the world in a few years , and I’m the one to help you attain that if you wish to do it also . I found one on internet -just the upper- prepped for $5500 and another upper that is 50% restored for same.  You can’t find a nicer open mouth major anywhere with entire skull top notch . Minors which are not rare and but  not open mouth and Im selling for same price a closed mouth goes for so sap this one up . It was bought in USA from an old collection recently . These are not a obtainable anymore as sites are closed . The value on this will be double in months so buy before it does go up , as I will be rising my price on this . You can get a whole skull at less than others want . I prepped this in many areas also

Rare Awesome 100% original MIOCENE 5 MILLION YEAR OLD WOLF ON NICE STAND

Species: Canis teilhardi (Extinct Asian Wolf)

Species description: It was closely related to Grey Wolf and was a canid, however, was mostly wolf and some wild canine in many features but it is not direct ancestor  of any species today. It became extinct at the end of late Pliocene about 1.8 million years ago and reached its peak in Late Miocene - Early Pliocene. It was a carnivore with little known except an aggressive meat eater. Fossils are extremely rare.

Geological strata: Lougdan

Geological period: Middle Miocene 10MYA - Late Pliocene 1.3 MYA

Item location: Central Asia

Item rating and description: 12 This is Asian Miocene Wolf 10" Skull which is one of rarest item I’ve ever had. Rarer than any Asian sabercat.  NO one else on the planet has these to sell  It is so beautiful with excellent bone quality and a complete set of teeth . Its teeth are different than any other animal by far. No skulls will come again except for this  whole skull and a few others. This has been in my collection for years. The teeth are very good. The back of skull is complete and showing and it was professionally prepped by me. It took a lot of work and it was worth it. It has bone quality and color that is unsurpassed.  Only a small area on zygos are restored  so it is 95%. This is for an avid collector who wants something neither museums or individuals have. This is even rarer than dire wolf. I have been lucky and this is my third one all from same person (owner). The last dire wolf skull in America sold for $23,000 at auction recently. It has a slight slant from tectonic forces. While it  is not fully agape this you can see all the teeth so it was not necessary  and it displays so well on this display  it would save you lots of money, and any  one could purchase it at this price. So I'm opening up normally  one-of-a-kind mammal to everyone with this low price. This is a $15,000 discount to a dire wolf, and this is much rarer.
