Large Amazing Roman Storage Vessel from the Hadrian Era 117 AD

2000 Year Old Roman Storage Jar

This is simply an amazing piece. It is 10.5" High and 8" Wide. It was found by a Bosnian Serb in a Bosnia Roman Fort after the war in area that was bombed. Fortunately the jar was spared and here it is. This was held by the Romans during Hadrian's reign as he extended the boundries of Roman rule. After him - around 150 BC - this area was not held by the Romans. So by deductive reasoning this pottery was at least 1900 years old. It also is very descriptive of Roman vessels during this time and it survived many wars including the latest dispute. It had some Roman coins in it and other Roman artifacts were found in the AREA ALSO. It was found near the Danube River where the Romans built many forts. Now it is Bosnia formerly part of Yugoslavia. The pottery is glazed a lot on the inside for use but not all the way down and it shows drips on outside from this glazing process. These were for usage everyday and not ceremonial for looks like many I have. However this makes for an interesting piece to say the least. In the pics it shows $600 which I paid. I'm asking only a little more for this huge unbroken piece while it does have a few nicks off the top of the jar which is simply amazing as it is strong and heavy. Anyway I'm sure of this one and I bought it from a reliable European dealer who found many other Roman artifacts in the area and inside the fort after some digging. This is a keeper.  If you have read this far you want it so here it is. I also have some Roman coins if your interested in the Romans.

POSSIBLE INCAN CEREMONIAL POTTERY

Beautiful Inca Ceremonial Pottery from South America with fine detail purchased from a huge estate in Atlanta 25 years ago among many pottery items that were appraised all appraising at a high range. This was part of a huge collection. I can't verify its authenticity through normal channels as I could not find one like it. All known is above. It's use is speculation but at elaborate ceremonies occurred with the Incas and it is believed to be in the 1400-1500 AD time frame. Since I can't guarantee this I decided to keep at an ultra low price based on what I paid so the owner could garner huge value if researched. The detail is amazing on this piece. Since I'm not an expert and don't know how to value - this is a chance of a lifetime for someone.  If it is not you have an old piece of Indian pottery that must be at least worth $300-400. If authentic - its value could be over $7000-$10,000 so what do you have to lose.

The original collector of this piece who was knowledgeable and wanted it in a collection that is so valuable it contained 100,000 pieces so I’m trusting him. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain just like the lottery except the chance of this being very valuable is over 50% instead of one in a million so you don't have to roll the dice on this one.

Beautiful Rare Mayan Ceremonial Goblet from Yucatan Peninsula

Beautiful RARE MAYAN Ceremonial GOBLET from the Yucatan Peninsula with fine detail purchased from a huge estate in Atlanta 25 years ago among many pottery items all appraising between $50,000 - $300,000. This was found in the middle of many items in a huge collection of tremendous value. All known is above. Its use is speculation but at elaborate ceremonies after Toltecs in 800 AD blood was drank of outer tribes or losers in the ball game and this is possible. The detail is amazing on this piece. It was broken only once for such an old piece at base and glued back with very durable glue. Since I'm not an expert and don't know how to value this. I will sell based on my cost so this could be a rare opportunity of a lifetime for someone. I can't find one on the Internet but many places of worship and living including Chichen Itza, Ixmal. No location was shown. Anyway the pics are super, and I'm sure buyer will be pleased. I can't be sure of anything since it was info provided by another. Period sometime between 2500 BC - 1550 AD probably after Toltec influence which started 800 AD which began a brutal reign of ceremonies for at least 700 years. It comes also in a nice glass case for display.

Super Rare High-Quality 1806 Napoleonic French Infantry "Briquet" Saber

This sword (saber) was carried by most of the infantry throughout the height of the Napoleon Empire.  This is a short saber. It was called that in 1806 which means lighter. This is an original sword so rare that you will be hard pressed to find on like this On-Line. The relicas are extremely expensive as well. It is stamped CA which is the inspector marks. The 23.5 inch blade is of high carbon steel. Horseman found this too short to use. The hilt is made of solid brass and the scabbard is in cow leather. The pommel area is flat and tang is peened.

The overall length of the saber is 75 c . It was used on ships for close combat by Napoleon's troops due to its ease of use. This is one-of-a-kind piece and I'm offering it at a super price for such an old original saber.
