Beautiful Amazing Rare Large 8.5” Chocolate Dinictis  First   Saber-Tooth

Species:  Chocolate   Dinictis  Felina  Saber- Cat Skull

Species description:   The long –legged dinictis with razor –sharp sabers was the smallest and the earliest  saber-tooth cat  that roamed North America beginning in the Eocene Period 45 MYA -23 MYA . They stood at least 2 ft tall with cheetah-like habits and diet , and were solitary predators  hunting an abundant food supply of grazing ungulates including camels  and oreodonts . Using their highly developed saber-teeth they would likely sever the blood supply in the neck of their prey in the initial attack. Most skulls  were about 7.5 inches long

Geological strata: Lower Zone  Brule Formation

Geological period:  40-23.5MYA

Item location:  NW  Nebraska  Arner  Ranch

Item rating and description: 12 + Unbelieveable  Rare Chocolate   Largest  Dinictis Saber-Tooth cat Skull  at 8.5” which was found  in 1994 by one of the top  hunters and authorities on saber-tooths.  A chocolate dinictis is almost unheard of as only a few mile radius in Nebraska Oligocene these  can be found . I can honestly say that probably not more than 10 cats have been found this color, and I’ve never seen one for sale,  and then one this large is amazing.   Dinictis saber cats were normally 6-7.5 “ skulls but this is one of biggest ever found. It has beautiful original long sabers over 2 ¾”inches along. Most is original but from an expert one of the sabers was half missing during its life so you can call this guy  half-tooth, and the rest  of that was restored with partial real saber fragments  . Also the top of skull is really super with about 90% original and some  restoration on zygo arches, little on saggital crest  and   a few upper skull sections. The lower jaws are mostly  real bone and all original teeth  except repair and little restore on a few incisors from another saber-cat about m40 miles from this ranch . The teeth are at least 90 % original though and beautiful . They fit well and has similar color with lowers slightly lighter . The uppers have only the mostly original but teeth were in pieces so they were heavily repaired with a few original incisors . The lower jaw is mostly original except for most of back of jaws which is normal for these. All and all a very good cat which is huge with sabers way over the usual 2 “ for this species. It can be shipped without fear of breakage .This is for top collectors and the largest  and a very good  skull. IT comes with a large pretty  display base  and is very secure on its stand . This is a chance to get a full  large skull that is so rare in nature I’m sure none of you have ever seen another  . One this large and a color few people can ever get so I consider this my best . I really could care less if you buy this skull because I will proudly keep it in my collection forever because Ill never see another this color. It is so super it literally can hold you attention for a long time . Nothing compares to this cat .

Most Desired Large Hoplophoneus True Saber-Tooth Cat

Species: Hoplophoneus primaevus (true saber-tooth cat)

Species decription: Hoplophoneus saber-tooth cat was about the size of a bobcat that roamed the ranges of western USA about 32 million years ago. It was larger including larger sabers and heavier than Dinictis, which was the first saber-tooth more than 39 MYA so this saber-tooth is the second oldest saber-tooth cat that ever lived. It was a true saber-tooth cat unlike Dinictis and had saber-guards or flanges on the mandible to protect its fangs. From the limb bones it indicates these cats ambushed its prey rather than running it down, and could stab it's prey easier than other sabers due to being able to open its lower jaw to a 90 degree angle. We also know they were found in pairs which indicates a family style life. Leidy found the first Hoplophoneus fossil in 1869, and others have been found in the White River Formation in Wyoming, Nebraska, parts of Colorado and South Dakota and is very rare in fossil records. They weighted anywhere from 100-250 lbs. These are rarer than Dinictis but more common than Pogonodon, Eusmilus, and Nimravus-which is rarest and I have one for sale. All of these saber-cats are extremely rare.

Geological formation: White River Formation

Geological period Oligocene: 32-23 MYA

Item location: Pennington County, South Dakota

Item Description and rating: 12++++++++++- Large 7 ¾" Hoplophoneus True Saber-tooth Cat Skull with 2 ½ inch both original perfect sabers. The sabers are long for this saber-cat also.  This is a rare fossil cat and is a beautiful representation of the first true fossil saber- cat with all top teeth original with only a few small incisors on bottom restored.  This is the most sought after American saber-cat due to the long saber guards(both original) in the front of lower jaw. The upper part of this animal is the best I have ever seen.   Restored areas of skull are minimal including back of lower jaws which is normal, and part of zygos in the back. I estimate the skull overall to be 90%  original and teeth 95% original  and this cat is actually better than the first one I sold in two weeks at the same price .   I  love cats so much and immediately fell for this animal so if it doesn't sell I also gain a lot.The sabers are very large and all real without restore. Pictures for this do all the talking. This is a chance of a lifetime to own a rare and beautiful part of the past USA plains.  This would be a shock to see this animal for more than a month. The best prepper in the world did this skull so retail on this cat is $10,000 plus. A deal at...

MAGNIFICIENT Large 12” DIRE WOLF COMPLETE SKULL from ONE OF Most Famous Fossil Sites in the World

Species:   Canis Diris (Dire Wolf)

Species description: It was closely related to Gray wolf in many features but it is not direct ancestor  of any species
today . IT became extinct 10,000 years ago with wooly mammoth . IT was larger than Gray Wolf averaging 5 ft in
length  and weighing 150-175 lbs . Legs of Dire Wolf was shorter and sturdier than those of gray wolf and the
brain case was smaller to than the gray wolf .This was the largest wolf ever and ate anything it wanted as it
traveled in packs also to obtain food.

Geological strata:

Geological period: Pleistocene  100,000-10,000

Item location:      FAMOUS VERO BEACH SITE , Indian River County, Florida

Item rating and description: 13 SPECTACULAR DIRE WOLF 12” COMPLETE SKULL from The Famous  Vero Beach
Site where the recent mammoth engraving and Vero Beach Man is from . This skull while not perfect , I would
describe as an outstanding specimen of such a rare mammal that few even see let alone can own . I debated to
sell this one or not , but I do have another upper skull in my collection . AS you know only Florida, Alaska , and
LaBrea have these animals , and the University of Florida has only one exhibited . It was IDed initially by
Richard Hulbert  from the University of Florida , however its length of 12” alone Ids the species for sure . No  other
species  of wolf over 11 inches long ever existed so for you doubters, it’s true . This specimen has the most
spectacular teeth you will ever see. The entire upper are all original teeth , with only  repair to both canines .
The lower has all original except 4 smaller incisors in the middle , which were restored so the teeth are at 95%
original  and great . The skull has the  original entire snout area , and the cranium totally original , the most
critical parts of any animal . It was expertly prepped and in the middle behind and in front of eyes has
restoration as a smaller  section was not there . The color difference is due to lower jaws being found a short
distance from the upper but matching in color except the teeth , which are darker . The lower jaws are simply
outstanding with spotted teeth . The color change can easily happen due to matrix shifts animals are found in .
Even the back is much darker with black than the front of the upper skull on the same piece so it happens .
It makes this piece very special by this . The prep is so well done you will never see the restored areas as its
done by the world greatest prepper.  Any item especially one this rare and special  is to be seen by the who
le and  not the parts.Imagine this creature about the pounce on a mammoth as this site is famous for.
Take a minute to visualize this Specimen or go to the internet

http://www.bing.com/search?q=dire+wolf+video&src=IE-SearchBox&Form=IE8SRC
        .
I still can’t believe I have this piece , and you won’t either whoever buys it . The canines are 1 5/16 inches
and lowers are original totally  with no repair . One of these from LaBrea has and does now go for double
this price .It comes with a beautiful open mouth mount so enough talk –just look at pictures .

Item Location :  Custer County, S Dakota

Item location:  Description :  12 Excellent  Adult  Female  Open Mouth  Dinictis Saber-Tooth Cat Skull with 100% Sabers and Rest 90% Overall. It is 7 “ long -avg for the species. This is a special piece as the sabers are all real saber with one small  spot inside  stained due to enamel wear that could have been natural wear for this individual . Also the teeth are almost all original with only a few lower  incisors restored . Even the canine incisors are natural . The molars are all natural and the upper bone quality is premium with overall about 90% natural . The  upper skull is immaculate with all real  original teeth including all small  incisors which is rare nowadays . The teeth are so great on this cat. The upper is almost all original except  for one zygomatic arch(other one natural –yes natural ) and  part of sagittal crest at very top . The lowers have the backs of jaws restored only . All and all it’s an exceptional cat  and this comes from a universitie’s professor’s collection  in PA but was not prepped until recently and what a great job doing that . Few of these have been found lately as prices have risen for wholesale and retail cats , and it’s impossible to get these at same prices I used to pay. Also it’s almost impossible to find a good Dinictis for sale anywhere now so supply and demand take over.  These are my speciality  as well as other saber-cats . You just can’t get these anymore for this price . Also prepping fees have increased ,however , I was able to get this at a discount so yours  a fair price of

Item location: Western S. Dakota Pennington County

So rare is this piece this is only the second skeleton I've had. This is for top collectors and the price is great. The restored areas include front top skull small section part of one zygomatic arch and front teeth bottom jaw on skull and on skeleton only the shoulder blade, 2 feet-one has partial metatarsals original, partial back femur (About ½) The rest is original  I estimate about 60% of skeleton is present with no tail and some dorsal verts with processes . BEAUTIFUL Complete Rare Skull of the First CAMEL - 35 MYA

Species: Poebrotherium wilsoni (First camel ever)

Species description: This was first camel 35,000,000 yrs ago that mainly lived in large numbers in open woodlands in S. Dakota and looked about the size of a sheep only 30 inches high and skulls 6-8 inches only for adults and had a long neck and limbs with small hooves on feet. It ate plants. Unfortunately this animal is rare for palentologists in fossil records - even rarer than horses and rhinos because they were tasty to carnivores so even when found - noses, chins and backs of skulls are missing because they were tender prey to saber-tooths and they were hunted by grabbing muzzles to bring down. Cranial portions are almost non existent or very, very rare complete. But guess what - I HAVE A COMPLETE CAMEL.

Geological formation: White River Formation

Geographical Period: Oligocene Period 35-23 MYA

Item Location: Badlands of Converse County, Wyoming

Item description and rating: 12 + WOW What a FIND! If you want something no one else has then buy this RARE COMPLETE 30 MYA Sub-adult CAMEL skull that is 5" long. This is not only rare in finding especially complete for above reasons but one of few found in Wyoming - these are only described in South Dakota in all books. This is beautiful light tan bone and looks like the animal died yesterday. This animal is whole which is almost unheard of and has all teeth and slender nose as described in books with little restoration only where it had a crack which was filled around entire animal. THIS IS A MUSEUM Piece. Bone is present in all areas except ½" area on one side and small piece on top. I can't describe how nice is animal is so look for yourself. Retail this animal goes for $2000 so for a 1" less size skull than adult (I prepped this animal so I know it well) You can get this item for an unbelieveable price!

Amazing Piece of History Huge Oligocene Eporeodon Oreodont

Species: Eporeodon Oreodont

Species description: Largest Oreodont  that resembled a modern cow in size , appearance, and functions. They were short-legged, blunt-headed herbivores that had 5 toes on each foot. This animal is very rare compared to other oreodonts and the Largest and a real prize. They lived in the American West  35-23 MYA. They were food for saber-tooth cats and hyaenodons for millions of years, much longer than cows have existed.

Geological strata: White River Badlands

Geological period: Oligocene Period 34-23 MYA

Item location: Badlands of Western South Dakota

Item rating and description: 12 - X -Special  Rare Large (Over 12") Eporeodon Oreodont from long ago, however, the beauty, detail, and bone quality of this animal is the best I have ever seen . I have a number of these and the size is just huge. This was way bigger than the largest saber-cat of its time. The animal has under 5 % restore with almost all of the 5% in the forward 1" of mandibles. The color is bone white on the right side and a nice orange patina on the left. It displays a beautiful freestanding base  of it’s own matrix which is large (11.5 x almost 8" x 5.5" wide). This is a great opportunity to own a real favorite and  most oreodonts are more common but this  one is very, very rare and one of the LARGEST MAMMALS of the OLIGOCENE. This will not last long so don't  procrastinate or it will not be left.  You will never see a nicer or larger Oreodont anywhere.  I also have a large part of the back of the skeleton (see below) that can be purchased in conjunction with this skull.  I prefer to sell together.

X-Nice 3 ¼”  TREX (KING of All Beasts EVER) Last  Maxillary tooth in Back of skull  w /Great Serrations

Species: Tyrannosaurus rex

Species description: One of largest carnivore during dinosaurs age with 12" corner teeth with roots and up to 49 ft long and USA own species found in western USA. Very powerful and massively built dinosaur which hunted solitary . It easily downed its prey with quick surprise attacks.

Period: Late Cretaceous Period  70-66.5 MYA

Geographic strata found: Hell Creek Formation

Geologic location: Powder River , Montana

Description and rating:  12  Special Rare Location  Super-Nice TREX 3 ¼” Last Maxilla Tooth with Root “ This tooth is rarely found in skulls or by itself -which this one was . It has a beautiful light brown color mostly even though the tip on one side is darker brown. To some the tip may look restored but I saw the entire tooth before prepping and it showed a change in color on one side due to the matrix it layed in for 65.5 Million years .Beautiful, complete   enamel , shape , and serrations are exceptional  describe this tooth . It was whole when found and again no restoration and I can’t find any crack fills either.   It was in a chunk of matrix and expertly prepped to pull it out whole. It is impossible for anyone to speak negatively on this one .The root quality is also exceptional so little was gone on this tooth-stabilization and sealant to bring out the beautiful colors  The light hits this tooth so nice and basically shows it off clearly . This is a keeper .Serrations on inner  and outer curve are almost all there but very small on this tooth which is how it naturally is .I believe this tooth is the only one for Rex that does not shed also, so it has this for life . I could be mistaken but believe I read this somewhere. I’ve only seen a few of these ever as rarely found due to smaller size and  normal breakdown of the root .   Close-up  pictures show how  super this is as it has no restore and great  serrations  on this one . You will not be able to believe this price but I got a good deal . Top quality ,  and lowest price I have ever done and should sell within days  so if you put off this one its gone . This was found by a top  dinosaur hunter . Don’t be fooled by darker color on one side of tip. It’s all natural and a close examination shows this . This rare tooth will sell so fast so why not you be the one.

Monster RAREST-OF-RARE 19.5” TREX  MIDDLE FOOT METATARSAL 100% Original  from Montana

Species: Tyrannosaurus rex

Species description: One of largest carnivore during dinosaurs age with 12" corner teeth with roots and up to 49 ft long and 15 ft high that lived in western USA – largest in the United States that ever lived and killed and scavenged prey.

Period: Late Cretaceous Period 70-66.5MYA

Geographic strata found: Hell Creek Formation

Geologic location: Carter County, NE MONTANA

Description: Unbelievable  Beyond Rare Complete Large TREX Middle  Metatarsal-The One NeverFound due to Thinness . This REX was a huge one with only one bone of foot 19.5” and 4 others so this foot was at least  3.5  Ft long.Remember the end ones are longer. This was a monster REX probably 45 ft. long. There are no flaws as its beautiful brown found underground unless you can call being paper thin in the middle as per normal stats which makes it break no matter what you do. One end is pretty thick .The ends are actually all there and no wear. It’s like the dinosaur died 100 years ago. It can be shipped with glue because it will arrive broken in one area for sure as its do fragile. But it can be glued easy as it’s been done many times. It had to lie at a set position where you wish it a long time. The reason this is so rare is just that –the thinness makes it break up in the ground and hardly any of these are ever found. In fact I doubt if more than 10 are in the world but I’m not sure of course . I have had 2 metatarsals , but this middle one I have never seen even in museums , and I’ve checked with a few. They are always casted. It’s been in my collection for 10 years. I consider this perfect bone top premium on shape, color, bone quality and 100% Original with no filled in areas.  The end bigger ones go for 5900 so even though smaller it’s so rare and complete I need close to that so you get a rarer bone cheaper. I can’t let it go for less. You will never see another one I guarantee .
