Species: First One Found Beautiful Miocene Extinct Deer (Eostylcerus blaincillei) Skull

Species description: This is so rare a fossil little is written about it. It looked like modern day deer . They were about the same size and had antlers which are extremely rare in fossil records It has been found in Asia such as China and Turkey. It was equally as successful on open plains as the woodlands. It is extinct and only lived in Eastern Hemisphere. An artidactyl also.

Geological strata: Hipparion Fauna

Geological period: 15-1 MYA Miocene

Item location: Hezheng County Gansu Providence, China

Item rating and description: 12 +++ Unbelieveable First One Ever Found Beautiful Miocene Extinct Asian Deer 9" Skull w 2 /12" Antlers. What a rare find - a deer with huge antlers and antlers hardly ever fossilize in Miocene soil. This is the only one I have ever seen and is a super complete skull with the entire antler . No restoration (strengthened in back) only crack fills and a full set of teeth side and front. This is a treasure for you herbivore fans and deer lovers as I may not get another of these. Anyway what a specimen and teeth securely sealed and front, back of skull , and sides equally nice. IT comes with a display and is reasonably priced for such a rare find. The lines in this animal are superb in all regards.

Super Rare Almost 3" Allosaurus Foot Claw

Species: Allosaurus fragilis

Species description: Enormous carnosaur-largest of the Jurassic which weighed 2 tons and stood 15 ft tall. The head had two bony bumps above the eyes and a narrow bony ridge running from between eyes down to tip of snout.

Geographic strata: Morrison Formation

Geographic Period: Late Jurassic - Early Cretaceous 170 -130 MYA

Item location: Bone Cabin Quarry, Carbon County, Wyoming

Item description and rating: 12++ Super RARE Allosaurus Toe Claw (2 15/16"). This claw is my third Allosaurus claw in 6 weeks and I haven't seen one other on any website so any of my claws are  dreams come true for a number of my clients. It is a very nice specimen that is mimimum restoration not like the 2 others I had. One quarter inch on the tip and a ¼" chip on top of claw is all there is from keeping me from saying it’s perfect. So 97% at least original on a toe claw. When I have seen Allosaurus claws they are all hand claws so this is an extra special treat. This came from an area that has found a number of top specimens and I had a 6" sauropod Apatosaurus Brontosaurus claw from here. Color is dark black and perfect shape. With this one you get to have your cake and eat it too with little restoration and toe bones are even rarer than hand claws from what I have seen through the years . In fact this is the first Allosaurus toe claw I have seen and about 20 hand claws through the years. A few of my clients wanted one with little restore so here it is. Recently I saw a 2 ¼" claw sell for $3000 (at least asking price this) for a unidentified Jurassic claw so I believe my price is reasonable.  So step up the the plate on this one.

Most Desired Large Hoplophoneus True Saber-Tooth Cat

Species: Hoplophoneus primaevus (true saber-tooth cat)

Species decription: Hoplophoneus saber-tooth cat was about the size of a bobcat that roamed the ranges of western USA about 32 million years ago. It was larger including larger sabers and heavier than Dinictis, which was the first saber-tooth more than 39 MYA so this saber-tooth is the second oldest saber-tooth cat that ever lived. It was a true saber-tooth cat unlike Dinictis and had saber-guards or flanges on the mandible to protect its fangs. From the limb bones it indicates these cats ambushed its prey rather than running it down, and could stab it's prey easier than other sabers due to being able to open its lower jaw to a 90 degree angle. We also know they were found in pairs which indicates a family style life. Leidy found the first Hoplophoneus fossil in 1869, and others have been found in the White River Formation in Wyoming, Nebraska, parts of Colorado and South Dakota and is very rare in fossil records. They weighted anywhere from 100-250 lbs. These are rarer than Dinictis but more common than Pogonodon, Eusmilus, and Nimravus-which is rarest and I have one for sale. All of these saber-cats are extremely rare.

Geological formation: White River Formation

Geological period Oligocene: 32-23 MYA

Item location: Pennington County , South Dakota

Item Description and rating: 12++++++++++- Large 7 ¾" Hoplophoneus True Saber-tooth Cat Skull with 2 ½ inch both original perfect sabers. The sabers are long for this saber-cat also.  This is a rare fossil cat and is a beautiful representation of the first true fossil saber- cat with all top teeth original with only a few small incisors on bottom restored.  This is the most sought after American saber-cat due to the long saber guards(both original) in the front of lower jaw. The upper part of this animal is the best I have ever seen.   Restored areas of skull are minimal including back of lower jaws which is normal, and part of zygos in the back. I estimate the skull overall to be 90%  original and teeth 95% original  and this cat is actually better than the first one I sold in two weeks at the same price .   I  love cats so much and immediately fell for this animal so if it doesn't sell I also gain a lot.The sabers are very large and all real without restore. Pictures for this do all the talking. This is a chance of a lifetime to own a rare and beautiful part of the past USA plains.  This would be a shock to see this animal for more than a month. The best prepper in the world did this skull so retail on this cat is $10,000 plus. A deal at...

BEAUTIFUL Complete Rare Skull of the First CAMEL - 35 MYA

Species: Poebrotherium wilsoni (First camel ever)

Species description: This was first camel 35,000,000 yrs ago that mainly lived in large numbers in open woodlands in S. Dakota and looked about the size of a sheep only 30 inches high and skulls 6-8 inches only for adults and had a long neck and limbs with small hooves on feet. It ate plants. Unfortunately this animal is rare for palentologists in fossil records - even rarer than horses and rhinos because they were tasty to carnivores so even when found - noses, chins and backs of skulls are missing because they were tender prey to saber-tooths and they were hunted by grabbing muzzles to bring down. Cranial portions are almost non existent or very, very rare complete. But guess what - I HAVE A COMPLETE CAMEL.

Geological formation: White River Formation

Geographical Period: Oligocene Period 35-23 MYA

Geographical item location: Badlands of Converse County, Wyoming Item description and rating: 12 + WOW What a FIND! If you want something no one else has then buy this RARE COMPLETE 30 MYA Sub-adult CAMEL skull that is 5" long. This is not only rare in finding especially complete for above reasons but one of few found in Wyoming - these are only described in South Dakota in all books. This is beautiful light tan bone and looks like the animal died yesterday. This animal is whole which is almost unheard of and has all teeth and slender nose as described in books with little restoration only where it had a crack which was filled around entire animal. THIS IS A MUSEUM Piece. Bone is present in all areas except ½" area on one side and small piece on top. I can't describe how nice is animal is so look for yourself. Retail this animal goes for $2000 so for a 1" less size skull than adult (I prepped this animal so I know it well) You can get this item for an unbelieveable price!

Amazing Piece of History Huge Oligocene Eporeodon Oreodont

Species: Eporeodon Oreodont

Species description: Largest Oreodont  that resembled a modern cow in size , appearance, and functions. They were short-legged, blunt-headed herbivores that had 5 toes on each foot. This animal is very rare compared to other oreodonts and the Largest and a real prize. They lived in the American West  35-23 MYA. They were food for saber-tooth cats and hyaenodons for millions of years, much longer than cows have existed.

Geological strata: White River Badlands

Geological period: Oligocene Period 34-23 MYA

Item location: Badlands of Western South Dakota

Item rating and description: 12 - X -Special  Rare Large (Over 12") Eporeodon Oreodont from long ago, however, the beauty, detail, and bone quality of this animal is the best I have ever seen . I have a number of these and the size is just huge. This was way bigger than the largest saber-cat of its time. The animal has under 5 % restore with almost all of the 5% in the forward 1" of mandibles. The color is bone white on the right side and a nice orange patina on the left. It displays a beautiful freestanding base  of it’s own matrix which is large (11.5 x almost 8" x 5.5" wide). This is a great opportunity to own a real favorite and  most oreodonts are more common but this  one is very, very rare and one of the LARGEST MAMMALS of the OLIGOCENE. This will not last long so don't  procrastinate or it will not be left.  You will never see a nicer or larger Oreodont anywhere.  I also have a large part of the back of the skeleton (see below) that can be purchased in conjunction with this skull.  I prefer to sell together.

Geological strata: White River Badlands

Geological period: Oligocene Period 34-23 MYA

Item location: Badlands of Western South Dakota

Item rating and description: 12 - X -Special Rare Large Eporeodon Oreodont Skeleton which contains both back complete legs with some portion of the feet, pelvic bones, and partial front legs and many vertebrae in matrix. The bone quality of this animal is the best I have ever seen together with the skull. You can buy both items at a super price together (see item above). A large part of an large animal is very rare, and the skeleton was expertly prepared so well seen in a matrix. This piece as many full bones including many vertebrae and others that have partials exposed have still whole bones in matrix but this is best way to display it for structural reasons. Anyway buy both skull and skeleton together for best price. I will let pics do the talking on this one. This is for top mammal collectors and is a museum piece.
