Extra Fine Largest Dinictis Skull 8.5" of Old Collection of Saber-cats

Species: Beautiful Large Dinictis squalidens Saber-Cat Skull

Species description: The long-legged dinictis with razor-sharp sabers was the smallest and the earliest saber-tooth cat that roamed North America beginning in the Eocene Period 45 MYA -23 MYA. They stood at least 2 ft tall with cheetah-like habits and diet, and were solitary predators hunting an abundant food supply of grazing ungulates including camels and oreodonts. Using their highly developed saber-teeth they would likely sever the blood supply in the neck of their prey in the initial attack.

Geological strata: Orella Member Brule Formation

Geological period: 40-23.5 MYA

Item location: Sioux County, Nebraska Albert Ming Ranch

Item rating and description: 12 + Unbelieveable Rare Largest Dinictis Saber-Tooth cat Skull at 8.5" (of collections largest) which was found over 20 years ago. Dinictis saber cats were normally 6-7.5" skulls but this is one of biggest ever found. It has beautiful original long sabers over 2.2 inches along. Also the top of skull is really super with over 80% original and some restoration on zygo arches, little on saggital crest and front upper. The lower jaws are totally real bone from another saber-cat with all real teeth . The teeth are at least 85% original. It fit perfectly and has similar color. The uppers have only the small incisors not original. This is a top of the line skull with a small indention on top of skull. It also has restored lower jaw and extra restored teeth so you can move without fear of breakage. This is for top collectors and the largest and a very good skull. IT comes with a large pretty display base and is very secure on its stand . This is a chance to get a full large skull at an economical price less than a 6" skull of the same animal that I carry . This is a prize piece for all you saber-cat lovers.

Beautiful TOP of-LINE Almost Perfect  Hoplophoneus Saber Cat ( known as the  Mini Smilodon)

Species:  Hoplophoneus  primaveus

Species description:
The long –legged Nimravid  saber-tooth cat (one of larger one)with razor –sharp sabers and the second earliest saber-tooth cat  that roamed North America beginning in the Oligocene Period 35 MYA -23 MYA .  These animals had a lot of physical characteristics  similar and exact
to  Smilodon including famous saber-guards and similar sabers while smaller . They stood at over 2 ft tall the size of a large bobcat, and were more of a group predator with a close knit families as  evidenced by  some  hoplos found together in death while overall very rare species hunting
an abundant food supply of grazing ungulates including camels  and oreodonts. Using their highly  developed saber-teeth they would likely sever the blood supply in the neck of their prey in the initial attack.

Geological strata:  White River  Formation

Geological Timeframe: 30-23 MYA

Item location :  Shannon County, SD

Item rating and description: 14   Gorgeous  98% Original  Hoplophoneus  Saber-Cat  Skull  7 ¼”long with 2.30” Sabers. This by far is the best Oligocene Cat Skull I ever had. It was found by a top paleontologist in 1997 and is virtually perfect . This is so good you can’t tell any restore at all and virtually there is none . In fact on one side and  total lower jaws it is flawless . The teeth are all original with one upper carnassials missing and replaced with a tooth cast ,but all incisors , both sabers , and all molars are original . This cat even amazed my prepper as they are never this complete . 98% original at least describes this cat and sabers 100% with even tips . You can’t even see the 2% at all –no paint . Even the incisors are all original teeth, with no repair . It’s the most beautiful cat you will ever find . The Bone quality is magnificent  .This cat is the most highly desired vertebrate fossil in the world due to its resemblance to Smilodon and old age. The upper skull was just outstanding as I saw it before prepped and had everything , and stood out as magnificient pure   shape and completeness including the entire saggital crest . It has lowers that maybe a silly millimeter in back of one had resto as small part of one zygo so it’s as close to perfection you will ever see . This is from a cat expert and regarded highly by him .  This is one I won’t mind keeping, but it can be yours. An animal this good should go for $12,000 as I’ve seen many sell for thru the years .I will not discount a pure beauty in nature. You rarely find them this big but here it is. I have more pics if you need it.
Prices to get these have risen as few are found anymore . You will never see one this good anywhere anytime including at this site . I just cant ever say enough about this cat . If not appreciated I will glad  keep it for my personal collection as I can’t do any better . Entire skull is so great you’ll be sorry if you go for a cheaper 80% skull . If you’re a top collector you need this also or someone who wants to start with simply the best you’ll ever see

ORIGINAL BEAUTIFUL MOUNTED OPEN MOUTH RARE METAILURUS MAJOR SABER-TOOTH CAT 8" SKULL

Species: Metailurus major saber-tooth cat

Species description: Sabercat larger than metailurus minor from genus machairodontine saber-tooth cats that belong to tribe metalurini  that lived in Asia and Europe 15-8 MYA. Known as false saber-cat because it had a cross between long flat saber-teeth and shorter cone-shaped teeth of modern felines and many believed it evolved to modern day cheetah. It lived earlier than metailurus minor and while minor lived 9-6 MYA so it lived longer but much rarer to find. I've only seen 2 of these, while minor are the most common saber-tooth cat. It was closely related to dinofelis. Its canines were slightly larger than dinofelis and was very stocky in build . Both cats had forearms more heavily built than the hind limbs.

Geological strata: Hipparion Formation

Geological period: 15-8 MYA

Item location: Central Asia

Item rating and description: 12 ++  OPEN MOUTH Very Rare Metailurus  Major Saber-cat 8" SKULL with all original Teeth including 2 sabers (original) 1.5" long with incisors and molars. The teeth are really nice with only a slight amount of repair on one molar and a few glued back after breaking . The skull is at least 98 % original with crack fills and back of lower jaws not showing but appears to be in matrix back of zygos. The back of skull is perfect with all attachments including condyles and a beautiful piece in all regards. Few of these can be open mouth due to size so you will never find another anywhere open mouth of these. I did all the prep work for first time on open mouth as I do all closed mouth ones and it appears to have come out great. The color has dark spots, light beige, white and different shades of brown which makes it colorful and such a amazing piece. It fits well on the stand and can be shipped top of skull down even though lower jaw is attached to upper. The zygos are all real and only a dime area in sagittal  crest is restored so what  treat. Sources say these cats are impossible to find now but minors are still much more common and other saber cats but rare overall as only a few % of fossils found are carnivores. All matrix is removed(even eye sockets) except zygos where it is too fragile to expose . The teeth show up very well. MY goal is to get every sabercat in the world in a few years, and Im the one to help you attain that if you wish to do it also . I found one on internet - just the upper - prepped for $5500.  You can't find a nicer more unusual color anywhere and makes this a top notch piece. Minors which are not rare and not open mouth go for what IM asking, and at the same price my other perfect one but not open mouth. It was bought in usa.

Extremely RARE ARBOREAL ANCESTOR TO BOTH CATS AND DOGS  MIACIS

Species: Miacis

Description of species:  Miacis is so rare few people have ever heard of this animal including 98% of the paleontologists in the World as it is an ancestor of both cats and dogs . It is an extinct group of mammals that appeared in the USA in the late Paleocene even though some believe mammal parts found in dinosaur times 66 Million years ago, and are mammals of the family Miacidae. They are early mammal carnivores that were ancestors of the modern order Carnivorae . It was 5 clawed about the size and description of a weasel, and lived on the North American , Europe , and Asia continents although much later in Asia . They retained some of the primitive characteristics of the creodonts such as low skulls , long slender bones, long tails and short legs They had 44 teeth and teeth were reduced in size   It was well suited for arboreal climbing  with sharp claws like cats and had limbs and pelvis like dogs . The teeth were a cross between a dog and a cat . Carnivores evolved out of this animal and it is so rare I can’t say how lucky I am. It looked similar TO A CAT  most believe cats , dogs , and bears evolved from this animal. It ate small reptiles, mammals, insects and eggs and fruit so an omnivore .  It is considered an ancient kind of felis, an ancestor  to the small cat by most . Miacis was probably an early  caniform that went to dogs, cats, and bears.

Geographical  formation and Period :   Early to Late Miocene 20-5 MYA

Location :

Item Description : WOW  ANCIENT CAT  BEYOND RARE  MIACIS (Which CARNIVORES  EVOLVED FROM ). This is only 4.75 “ long but an unbelievable find .  Only traces of these are ever found in the USA and Europe and only a fraction of skulls in Asia. I’m the proud owner an animal almost never found and the first of a line of carnivores.  I have only seen 2 skulls ever and this is the best found. It would be so ridiculous to even talk about a small amount of restore when this ancient carnivore is probably one of best whole skulls found but in interest of truth an inch of another specimen is probably in back of skull including condyles. This cat has all the lowers and all the teeth except the upper right canine and possibly a few incisors but overall a fantastic original tiny predator that gave us today’s carnivores and most consider the cats the main beneficiary  including saber-tooth’ s quite possibly and bears .  It has entire lower jaws including the backs and a beautiful cranium and top and nasal area. I look in amazement at such an animal that started the whole line of carnivores we have today and yesteryear . THIS IS TRULY AMAZING AND FOR ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO WANT SOMETHING FEW PEOPLE HAVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.  If you’re a cat lover why not start collecting  at the beginning . How do you price an item no one has  anywhere well  Ill sell it cheap .

X-Large Rarest of Rare Allosaurus 95% original 6" Hand Claw

Species: Allosaurus fragilis

Species description: Largest Therapod Meat Eating Jurassic dinosaur ever often reaching up to 35 ft long Of as long as a bus. Its large skull with movable joints in the skull allowed it to bite huge bites to devour its prey which included the largest of sauropods often reaching over 70 ft long. It did hunt in groups and was probably the greatest predator that ever lived even greater than TREX. It had a S-shaped bulldog neck and each powerful arm having 3 clawed fings and one large one only. These did not rejuvenate as teeth did. It weighed 2 tons at least . Allosaurus hands were way bigger than TREX.

Geological strata: Morrison Formation

Geological period: Late Jurassic 172-140 MYA

Item location: Buckshot Quarry, Buckshot Subdivision, Moffat County, Colorado Found by Robert Witherell in 1995

Item description and rating: 12 ++++ ++++ Unbelieveable X- Rare Large Allosaurus Hand Claw. 95% original. This Great claw was only recently prepped after being found over 14 years ago, and is so beautiful and almost perfect. This is the best quality claw of 6 allosaurus claws I had this year and no one now has any allosaurus claws for sale anywhere and this is my 6th this year. I have another also. This is only for top collectors who want to have a large rare claw. It truly is so nice it is a dream come true for me and now for you. Again as a few other items, If not sold I will gladly keep it. I only ever had one better than 85% before. One side only on tip for ½ has some small restore while other side is perfect. The ½ tip and one small ½ inch section on same side in middle keeps it from being totally original . The other side while no restore does have some wear towards back of claw. Even the greatest eye cannot detect the restored areas as only surface area is affected not thru the width of the claw -as it is all there . No reason to say anything else except a recent one that was 6.5 inches long with 2.5" of tip restored on both sides went for $6000 at auction just in case you don’t know values. This claw should get $8500 but you can get it for less per inch than a TREX which goes for $1300 and who ever saw a TREX hand claw over 5 inches. Under one thousand per inch again. Whoever purchases this will have a copy of one selling with 35% restored for $6000.
