Special Fossil-100% Original -A ULtra Rare Pleistocene Muskox Upper Skull with Teeth & Horns 18” LongSpecial Fossil 100% Original –A Ultra Rare Pleistocene Muskox Upper Skull with Horns 18” Long x 11” Wide
Species: MUSKOX-Ovibus moshatus
Species description: Pleistocene Muskox are noted for its thick coat and for strong odor emitted by the males was scattered throughout the Urals to Greenland, but after the Pleistocene its range was only in the USA . It was a contemporary with the wooly mammoth . It was able to survive the extinction event due to finding ice-free areas away from prehistoric peoples .These horns are very representative of the species .Today they have been reintroduced in Europe and Siberia .
Geological strata: 200,000 years ago through today
Item location: Yukon, Alaska This age is well documented at 30,000 years old so while still same species it is a Pleistocene fossil which you can tell from darkness
Item rating and description: 1-10 9 This is an Amazing Pleistocene upper Skull with Horns Partial Horns 18” Long and 10.5”wide .This is so rare my Alaskan contact said he only ever one other one. This one is from Alaska and while they are still there this is a Pleistocene one shown by the dark, dark color. Anyway it was so amazing even though it’s an upper Its amazing because all teeth are present which never happens until now. That’s why I bought it plus the 100% natural skull . For those skull lovers even though it exists today not Pleistocene skulls. The teeth are similar to buffalo but few are found .The upper is quite complete except the upper nasal area . The horns are truly amazing –not equal size. You can’t view this fossil like all the rest as hardly any fossil remains exist for sale. Since hardly any teeth are ever found as the skulls themselves, this piece is a real trophy fossil piece . Anyway I was told this piece was worth 8,000 with no teeth so I decided to sell it at half price firm for some lucky collector who wants something no one else has in the fossil world. Here are the pics. You can’t find one of these and if you ever did no teeth and a $6000 price tag THis is 30,000 years old Unheard of so here is something you won't see again .

Item rating and description: 1-10 9.8 Beautiful Dark Red Brown Highly Original 92% Large Oligocene Mesohippus Skull 9”. Its at least 92% plus original which is amazing. The color of Darker reddish Brown is just gorgeous. The skull is has lowers with all original teeth all real and perfect , so lowers are just amazing with only some resto on backs of lower . This is rare . The upper had perfect top, back and only some resto in front as this is onlyr teeth restored on entire animal . I love this skull. Mesohippus has become fairly rare as I saw only 2 and purchased them so prices have risen a lot . The lower jaw is 95% original with even real incisors which is unheard of. All teeth are original to this animal which also is rare . They don’t get better than this and the color is so appealing.. I’ve had some but this is amazing quality. I do have another one same top premium . Its been awhile . My last one went for 5500. The quality you just can’t get this good. Bone quality is amazing. Its such a pretty darker color for this area. It was found close to Indian land but on private property of a rancher . I’ve been to this location before and amazing quality is what you get. All other teeth on both sides are not only complete but amazing quality with no repairs. So I have some great ones . Anyway great price on magnificently displayed horse on wooden display . All horses were small at this time but this is a big one. Just one glance I had to have it as it is so outstanding. IT displays well. I priced it to sell quickly as this will sell so fast my head will spin. This is an adult horse and second in line after Eohippus . I’ve only seen a few last 3 years . Only from earlier collections anymore. None being found now . These are hard to get original like this. Most have entire front restored due to saber cat attacks as that is how they were killed . I will not take less for this as I will gladly keep it. Why discount top premium items any more than I already did. These all go for over 5000 now wholesale as demand has grown and supply limited . I bought the only 2 I saw at Tucson show this year 2022. Take your choice of 2 . I have Great deal at
