Item description and rating:1-10 9.8 Amazing Find X -Rare Monster Triceratops(PossibleTororosaurus) Colorful(Various shades of brown) 35” x 13” x 11 ” High Humerus found by a dinosaur hunter over a 2 year period in one of best dinosaur country in the world. It is such a super find found close together. IT has a few lighter and darker colors at spots which happens on occasion but overall is Beautiful Lighter Hell Creek Brown . It has very little restore but one large crack fill that had to be patched with bone fragments . It is gorgeous bone, and top quality . It is so heavy and large, and shape, color, quality, detail, and the story all make this and excellent find. This was found over two years as only 1 break over 65 million years. The distal non-paddle bulbous side was found two years ago with the pectoral girdle, and the other large ladel-like proximal part was found this year. It was a perfect match. It’s the only one I ever had way bigger than triceratops unless it’s a monster trike which is possible. But it’s a ceratopsian so it’s one of these two. One top paleontologist who didn’t see size said it was Triceratops, and another who saw it said Torosaurus. I believe personally to be a Torosaurus which is a larger Ceratopsian than Triceratops. My Triceratops humerus I had before was 28 inches which is big- This is 35 “. Torosaurus items I’ve had are much bigger than Triceratops .Bone quality is so great. To find over 2 years and to be this quality and to only find half is so unusual. Also I actually forgot I had it, as it was with partials this year from my September trip. I found it and prepped it. It needs a crate due to heavy at least 50 lbs so it’s mailed on a pallet also. It was well-prepped and only spot and crack fills on some outer bone cracking occurred. Now it’s so stable and a prize. It is complete in it’s entirety. The finder is one of best dinosaur hunters ever. It’s just so beautiful to look at. It was an underground find and exhibits all the qualities you want in a bone from a triceratops-type Ceratopsian .What a piece. IT is so large it’s not easy to pick up but can be done .It is a piece for a trike nut as it really is beautiful. I can offer it at a great price, and actually is so rare I’ve never seen one this size. Even though I’ve had most of the other bones of this rare giant creature of yesteryear. This bone is fabulous and a keeper. IN IM sure this is last one of these Ill ever get I saw a small baby humerus at Denver for 3300 only 14 inches high. This just isn’t found anywhere and this quality is amazing. Its only my third in 15 years .
