Famous Monster Extinct 20.5” HIghly Original MALE Cave Bear From Dragonhole(Drachenhohle) in AustriaFAMOUS MONSTER Extinct 20.5” Highly Original MALE CAVE BEAR Skull From Drachenhohle In Austria
Species: Ursus spelaeus
Species description: Large Bear from Pleistocene that was previously only known in Europe but this which was larger than size of a grizzly and lived 2.5 Million years ago -25,000 years ago in Europe with large jaws and large bodies similar except bigger than modern bears It lived in Europe at height of last Ice Age and hibernated in European Caves to survive the winters . One cave Dragonhole in Austria contains remains of more than 30,000 bears and many died in their sleep. It was hunted by Neanderthal people and was a vegetarian despite the size of teeth. They were found at many locations also in Russia , but now very few –only Romania . This specimen is from that famous place
Geological strata: Pleistocene1.5 Million Years OLD
Item Location: Famous Drachenhohle(The Dragons Cave) near Mixnitz, Austria
Item rating and description : The most famous 20.5” Monster Cave Bear ever offered from Drachenhohle near Minitz Austria. This is a Monster Cave bear -Largest I’ve ever seen by over an inch with COA . This Cave Bear was found in 1950s in the Drachenhohle(The Dragons Cave ) Near Mixnitz, Austria.. It was excavated legally and belonged to a person in Belgium who bought it at The Munich Fossil Show in 2008.. I have the COA with all info signed by him . Not only was it found at Dragonhole, which is world famous for 30,000 bears were found between 1920-1930 It was found at a depth of over 4.5 meters in dirt at very old level in a cave from ceiling drops over 50,000 years . At approx. 10,000 per meter in age that means this bear is at least 50,000 years old . So this skull until 2008 never left Austria in over 50 years . Its mammoth and wide . It has some reconstruction repairs on bottom and top front , with a little back of eye socket on one side , and teeth show how old this is as very dark like the skull which proves age . This bear does have resto at usual places but is still a high original cave bear like part of one zygo . European Austrian Male Bear with Super Bone Quality. All Teeth with x-Nice Canines are original. Cave Bears are no longer found as this species is from a old old, collection and no more for years have been discovered. It is almost 21” Long and an amazing 13 inches wide. They used to be found in caves all over Europe, and Russia, Austria but now all caves are closed to public. These have gotten very rare as only the old collections have them. Not many of these people will sell them so now demand is high, and supply very low. This means prices will be going up and up so this is an investment as they are getting so rare because no one from old collections wants to sell them including me normally as I have one for my collection . It was done so well on resto . The prices have doubled in the last 2 years, and this one is even better and so huge. They go so fast I expect this will be gone in a very short time . The great ones16-18 inches go for alot now(3 times as much just 4 years ago , so this one is worth much more and Dragonhole adds to it quite a lot but not here . Out of Drachenhohle( Austrian German Name , and this is better than most I’ve seen on size and quality . The color, no wear on teeth, and natural completeness is really amazing on this skull. I will not come down on this. These are such a great investment as the values will keep on rising and soon they will be like so rare only old collections will be sold. This species is the rarest of the entire lot of cave bears so you will only ever see a few of these ever and they are earlier bears but even larger than European ones. If you want the best it has to be paid for because I did pay a lot . I found out only 1 dealer has a few left on these so better get it quick or it will be much more .No Cave Bear anywhere in any collection is better and greater than the original location many bears were found . It’s a must for top collector and you will never have a chance to get to get another from this famous place closed for decades to public . It doesn’t get better than this for bear lovers like me. Ill gladly keep it if not sold but it will be quickly.
I do have a 23" one that is amazing in my collection .Who ever heard of a 23 inch bear ? It was found in 1905 near Mixnitz. NO record of first owner but it was bought in 1965 to H Burki . My other one so real old as found 6 meters down or 18 ft down so its over 60,000 years old at least . There was many in early 1900s found in caves all over Europe in France, Germany , Belgium ,Germany, Austria and Spain .

Magnificient One-of-Kind Early Miocene Unknown Male Species Beardog SkeletonOne-of-Kind EARLY MIOCENE Unknown Male BEAR-DOG Skeleton Species: DAPHOENDON BOROCYON Species Description: Unknown MORE THAN RARE (NON-EXISTENT except this one) Extinct Species of Bear- Dog of Miocene existing for a few million years from 23-19 MILLION years ago . It was assigned to amphicyonids. While initially related to bears it is now found they may be basal caniforms . This is one of the most unusual carnivore . They were as tall as a black bear , and moved here from Eurasia in early Miocene . It weighed 150 kg and combines features of canine and feline predators . It resembled a giant dog with a flexible cat-like body . These bear-dogs with long limbs and specialized in chasing down prey on the open plains. Only two partial mandibles have been found in Nebraska , and a part of a lower jaw in Florida . This is of great scientific importance to everyone, and unlimited value . It was described in 2008 only so very recent partial finds. Geological strata: Early Hemingfordian Geological period: Early Miocene 19 MILLION YEAR OLD STRATA Item location: Dixie County , Florida Item rating and description:1-10 10 Large Early Miocene All Original Male Beardog Family :Daphoendon Genus :Borocyon Unnamed Unknown Species of BEAR DOG Highly Original . NO one on earth has anything of this animal and I have the whole skeleton with skull. Over 90% of skull is original bone and the skeleton is almost all bone with only a few smaller upper foot bone casts from a relative . Keep in mind this is one of a kind . No casts have ever been made so all inner bones and almost all foot bones are original beardog bones from 2 animals - male and female in a cave of the inner main bones all are from one beardog . Only one fibula had some restore . bula. The head and inner main bones with feet are beardog from this cave . This was a 2 year project and of extreme value to museums or someone who wants something unknown at super price . The quality, shape color is remarkable The ribs and verts were not found, and are bear, however ,we found from a similar species at American Natural History Museum that all ribs are just like beardog . Generally all items at top look like bear and all feet and lower plus tail are like dog hence Beardog . Resemble bear so much its an accurate portrayal . Since no casts exist its better to have bone that is almost exact to represent . Remember most skeletons anywhere including dinosaur rarely approach 70% . I estimate this over that .It has stain to match colors especially on bear ribs and verts, which match exactly rest of the beardog . The head and inner main bones are all one beardog with feet some of that beardog and others from it’s mate The bulk of it is one beardog. The skull is 14” and amazing and its mounted beautifully for your enjoyment. It comes in sections like each leg, pelvis and tail, head and verts as well as ribs and screwed in into an almost invisible frame that makes it so appealing . This is an amazing find as no one has this anywhere, no head no skeleton and shows the size . It was prepped well to show the creature in a highly original way. This has no papers describing it but we know it’s close to robustus which was only described from only a few pieces of skull-2 in Nebraska. This is of extreme scientific value and highly original. This has all teeth –some placed in from another animal the same species. Of course this is so rare this should not matter as you can’t get this anywhere .The teeth are fantastic and not even worn. Who has even another species of this? NO one is the answer. It was gotten from a friend, and it’s a treasure. It was professionally prepped with bone quality simply outstanding, and color great. You really can’t value THIS ITEM since not one exists. Beyond a museum piece, in my private collection. I’m so proud of this piece .I really can’t say anymore than here because nothing is known of this animal. You won’t find anything under this in google so here is your info. So you understand this species is unknown and its one of a kind No skeleton is complete and at most -most skeletons are 60-70% with casted parts. All but 3 bones are original on this so what you have here is a very complete almost all beardog which in unknown and its huge .The skull alone is worth $45,000 minimum

Geological strata: Pleistocene1.5 Million Years OLD
Item Location: Famous Drachenhohle(The Dragons Cave) near Mixnitz, Austria This is more than 60,000 years old up to 100,000 years old
Item rating and description : The most famous 23” x 13” WideMonster Cave Bear is The Largest Extinct Bear you will ever see from Drachenhohle near Minitz Austria. This is a Monster Cave bear -Largest I’ve ever seen . This Cave Bear was found in 1905s in the Drachenhohle(The Dragons Cave ) Near Mixnitz, Austria. It was excavated when no laws existed. There is no record of the Finder but he owned it until 1965 when it was sold to H. Burki. The skull remained in his collection until 2022 when a friend in Belgium purchased if for me so really only 3 owners in 120 years . What is also amazing the dark color indicates very old bear-in fact this one was found over 6 meters(18 ft ) of dirt which comes from cave ceiling over many tens of thousands of years so it’s well over 60,000years old, and it was found in a famous cave where over 30,000 cave bears back then at different levels were found as it was run later by a phosphate company who allowed people in to take them . What is unbelievable of these few exist and no one sells the ones they had so I’ve only seen a few Dragonhole cave bears in my lifetime . This one is in my personal collection and not for sale . Its just too good to part with and so hard to get this. I have the COA with all info signed by him . So this skull until 2022 never left Austria in over120 years. Also the oldest bears in Europe are from Dragonhole . Next the quality is so good even areas of normal resto aren’t restored like zygomatic arches , backs of lowers, lower front which almost all bears have resto but not this one. IT only has a few spots so 98% original , which is so fantastic I can't let this one go, but have one more .I see only 1 tooth that probably came from another cave bear . It's mammoth and wide. European Austrian Male Bear with Super Bone Quality. All Teeth with x-Nice Canines are natural teeth . Cave Bears are no longer found as this species is from an old, old, collection and no more in decades have been discovered. The size at 23” no one has ever seen. They used to be found in caves all over Europe, and Russia, Austria ,Belgium, Germany , Romania, France but now all caves are closed to public. These have gotten very, very rare as only the old collections have them. Not many of these people will sell them so now demand is high, and supply very low. This means prices will be going up a lot and one day if I sell will be worth a lot . The prices have doubled in the last 2 years, and this one is even better and so huge. Drachenhohle( Austrian German Name ) adds so much value it’s just unbelievable to have this , and this is better and bigger than any I’ve seen in 25 years.. The color, no wear on teeth, and natural completeness is really amazing on this skull. It doesn’t get better than this for bear lovers like me. Ill gladly keep it. YOu can hardly believe how hard it was to get this specimen -months and months. The largest bear ever . This was not a complete carnivore but ate a wide variety of items but did kill animals for a living also like simus short-face bear.
