One Of Kind - Super Rare Eusmilus US Saber-tooth Cat with SaberSpecies: Eusmilus olsontau Species description: The Nimravid saber-tooth cat (one of smaller ones)with razor –sharp sabers and after Dinictis and Hoplophoneus on geological chart which is believed to evolve from one line of hoplophoneus saber cat that roamed North America beginning in the Oligocene Period for only a few million years from 30-27.7 MYA . These animals had a lot of physical characteristics similar to Hoplophoneus Sicarius except for size , as Eusmilus was the genus for that animal until a short time ago . All these are small saber cats only 5-6 inches long with large sabers and flanges for the size which makes it look like a barbourfelis and a hoplo except for much smaller size .It had only 26 teeth compared to 44 for most saber cats and it was lacking molar 1 talonoid and premolar 2 on the bottom jaw . It was bobcat sized with lynx sized head and was built like Barbourfelis for size (Of course Barbourfelis is much larger ). Long bodied and short legged compared to others, and they ate grazing ungulates including camels and oreodonts. They could open their jaws at a 90% angle . Most of the info on internet is incorrect as below is correct . It did not live 8 million years, just over 2 and did not have a large species in America (only this small one)at least and one in Europe was bigger . Geological strata: Upper Whitneyan and Early Arikareean Age Geological Time frame: 30-27.7 MYA Item location: Pennington County , SD Item rating and description:1-10 10 Gorgeous Small Ultra Rare Eusmilus Saber-tooth Cat 5.5” . Species: Beautiful Hoplophoneus Saber- Cat Skull oreodontis-First hoplo saber cat ever (2nd ever to Dinctis )
Species description: The long –legged Nimravid saber-tooth cat (one of largerone)with razor –sharp sabers and the second earliest saber-tooth cat that roamed North America beginning in the Oligocene Period 35 MYA -23 MYA . Geological strata: LOWER BRULE Timeframe : 40-34MYA Item location: Shannon County , SD Item rating and description:1-10 10 on Rarity This is the 2nd sabertooth cat ever in the entire world as its a very early Hoplophoneous sabertooth. Sabertooths originalted here in USA and this was second only to Dinictis . Gorgeous 7 ½ ” Rarer Hoplophoneus- Early Cat Skull in Excellent Shape . Some people say this was combined into priveavus species but as a White River expert with others ts divided to another species it’s an amazing find This is actually not primaveus, and is a really rare oreodontis species that has top quality at approx 80% . The teeth are great on premolars but incisors and sabers are casts This is such a rare species I’ve only had one in 20 years before this. For a true collector this is a must skull . It was the early hoplo -the first ever in fact .This is an old cat and primeavus would be bigger . It was found in very early rock which lower Brule is. Repair on cheeks , backs of both lowers and a few small spots own upper but top quality for such a rare skull . Even with sabers these never come around. All parts are one saber cat. My last one sold for a lot over 14,000 and this is better . Cat of USA are so hard to find anymore. Its almost impossible . If you read some articles many scientists have combined this into primeavus but the institute says this is definitely a different very rare species as they have only had a few of these in over 40 years , and its guaranteed a new rare species oreodontis so its –just too valuable .This wont be around again .This would go for $18.000 -20,000 if not for sabers so its a great chance to get a great skull fore the money |

Beautiful Gorgeous Exceptional 7.5” Dincitis Sabertooth Cat Skull w Complete Saber & Part of OtherBeautiful Gorgeous Exceptional 7.5” Dinictis Saber-tooth Cat Skull with 1 Complete Saber& Tip of other Species: Dinictis Felina Saber- Cat Skull Species description: The long –legged dinictis with razor –sharp sabers was the smallest and the earliest saber-tooth cat that roamed North America beginning in the Eocene Period 45 MYA -23 MYA . They stood at least 2 ft tall with cheetah-like habits and diet, and were solitary predators hunting an abundant food supply of grazing ungulates including camels and oreodonts. Using their highly developed saber-teeth they would likely sever the blood supply in the neck of their prey in the initial attack. Most skulls were about 7.5 inches long. Geological strata: White River Formation Geological period: 40-35 MYA Item location: Shannon County, S Dakota Item rating and description: 1-10 9.5 This skull is so beautiful , and highly original . Its an early Dincitis which you can tell due to size of 7.5 inches and also location that I know well. The sabers are about 2” long which is normal above many this era. One saber is all there but the other has ½ inch of the tip real with the rest restored. I’d estimate 80-85% original, which for an Oligocene cat amazing . The skull is mighty fine also with approx. 85% original with resto on some of saggital crest plus backs of lowers. The teeth on upper are all real including the incisors and canine incisors . Again the teeth are highly original and hardly any repair on upper except part of one saber . On bottom the smaller incisors and 1 molar & 1 premolar are restored . This cat is great. Restored minimal areas including saggital crest, few spots on top , ½ of one zygo , and one back of lower . For those who do not know that is so minimal . It was expertly prepped and rest of skull is totally original. I’ve had only had a few better than this one and expect this to sell fast. I sell 6-8 per year last 10 years. While some cats only occasionally show up, this is still quite good . Few people have these to sell as I do . You just won’t find them so those still expecting perfection will wait years and years and never get one. This cat has most everything- beautiful color, most original teeth, great sabers, excellent originality of skull and it’s open mouth mounted. What is the most amazing on this cat it was no distortions. The shape is perfect. This occurs only 1 out of 20 cats so this is great . On all sides it works to display on nice display mount also. It is really something. I looked at this so long as I could not find much resto. They just don’t come like this cat, so for you people who want a lot here it is. I had to have it and you will feel the same after looking at the pics .This worth so much more so no discounts. This is from a low formation which makes it one of first saber cats ever. 90% ones go for over 12,000 now . Price $9999 firm Shipping 2 packages overnite $235 |

They stood at least 2 ft tall with cheetah-like habits and diet , and were solitary predators hunting an abundant food supply of grazing ungulates including camels and oreodonts . Using their highly developed saber-teeth they would likely sever the blood supply in the neck of their prey in the initial attack. Most skulls were about 7.5 inches long Geological strata: Lower Zone Brule Formation Geological period: 40-23.5MYA Item location: NW Nebraska Item rating and description: 1-10 8.5 Rare Chocolate7.5” Dinictis Saber-Tooth Cat Skull Found which was found many years ago . These are 2 sabers complete, and all teeth but 2 small incisors which makes it one of best ever on teeth , which is by far the most important part of cat . The only problem is the top skull mostly was eaten away by erosion as it was above ground . The prepper has to save it by using a cast on top. Some parts of nose and back is real on upper as well as half of both zygos. The lower is amazing on teeth and bone, as all of this was underground. It’s a way for someone who doesn’t mind on upper lots of resto, but the rest is amazing with teeth you could just cry. A chocolate dinictis is almost unheard of as only a few miles radius in Nebraska Oligocene these can be found. I can honestly say that probably a very small percentage of cats are this color, and I’ve only had two others in 20 years. This is an average size dinictis. It has beautiful dark brown original sabers est about 2” inches along. . The lower jaws are much better than normal with a small amount in backs of lowers. The teeth make this just wonderful. You never get hardly any incisors which is 12 teeth and all but 2 are original. All on the top are perfect . All and all a very good cat It can be shipped without fear of breakage .This is for again someone who doesn’t care on top originality but wants a low price and original teeth . IT comes with a metal display on wood base shown in last 2 pictures . It is so super it literally can hold you attention for a long time. Nothing compares to this cat in teeth and overall beauty. IM selling at my cost so this cat would cost 10,000-11,000 if upper was better on bone.
