Geologic strata: Hell Creek Formation Geologic timeframe: 70-66.5 MYA Item Location- Powder River , Powderville SE Montana Item rating and description:1-10 9.7 Simply-the Best, The Largest 42” x 13” x 13” Edmontosaurus Tibia The bone quality is simply amazing. I believe due to due size this is anatotitan species .The Monster Tibia( my largest ever -largest before was 39”) was broken in 2 areas with some repair on a 2 of knobs, however it is complete with all bone little to no restoration, and prep came out beautiful. IT has some dark brown, almost black spots . The pics show a lighter brown due to light but its darker brown so typical of this area . This area produces some of best bones and this is no exception. I get very few tibias this quality as it has all the right parts including 3 pronged end and two projections on other side. While not perfect it is a keeper for anyone who wants a large bone. This Edmontosaurus was a monster in every way. Normally 32 inches is about it on these. This is so wide, so long, and so high. I CAN’T HARDLY Believe I’VE I GOT A TIBIA THIS LARGE AND GREAT Quality . Usually certain parts are worn heavily like 3 pronged end but on this they were present plus all other outcroppings. Yes it has crack fills and spot fills with repair. Also some wear on end but it’s normal on that . These go for huge money , and Ill never get a bigger one, but this is reasonable priced for quick sale . It is very transportable in foam as I pack well in foam and a crate so it’s safe to ship, and guarantee delivery with no breaks. The shape of both ends is simply remarkable. It is just a beautiful specimen. Tibias are hard to find this good . Anyway it is so special it’s a site to behold so let the pictures do more talking. This should be $5000, and in Tucson AZ one this good goes for $7500 so this is cheap for quality. That’s the only way you can get a complete foot. Pieces are original with only a little restore on the larger metatarsals . Most have only crack fills . The quality of bone overall is excellent . The metatarsals Id say very good. While bones are intermixed they are accurate in placement as Ill send pictures. There are various left, right pieces throughout that atre mostly Hell Creek Brown some darker others lighter . The size indicates the giant Edmontosaurus species, but some could be a huge annectus. The hooves huge at 4 x3.5, 5x4, and 4x4 inches all from one dinosaur. The hooves are the best I ever saw with no restore only crack fills. These also have detail which is amazing and it looks like this animal had arthritis so makes this very valuable. This piece has 15 Bones & 6 of them are from the same dinosaur. This is 99% Original Bone overall . This is better than a normal museum specimen and a picture will come with purchase to place them right in the foot. I also took pictures of underneath to show you quality of bone which are towards end of pics. Most feet are total composites from many animals but not this one. To give you an idea of how rare this is only a few complete edmontosaurus hadro feet have been found and they are almost always annectus species. The Hooves are actually so close to perfect on size, shape, and quality . This is such a find as this takes years to come up with a whole one , and this took me 3 years . . This is a real treat for something rare for one’s collection. It is highly natural with little done to it and has great shapes, color, detail on all bones. Unprepped Quality TREX Major Bones-Femur, Tibia and Pelvic Bone -Most of 1 leg 7/8 of Femur and 2/3 of Tibia and More Species: Tyrannosaurus rex Tyrannosaurus Rex was 15 ft high that lived in western USA - largest in the United States that ever lived and killed and scavenged prey Period: Late Cretaceous Period 70-66.5MYA Geographic strata found: Hell Creek Formation Geologic location: Baker, Montana Description and rating: 1-10 9.9 This crate -pallet contains almost all of a Femur , Tibia 2/3 section , plus other pelvic partials . These casted TREX items were found in 2008 and just purchased this year . 3 Palentologists were present digging out about 15-20% of a TREX. I have some of bones listed here at the site prepped, and all were top premium bones as you can see. I spoke to one of people that dug this TREX up and he described what I am in this paragraph. The femur casted is 60 x 18 and very wide also and top quality and 7/8 of femur. The last full femur prepped sold for $30,000. The tibia is 41” x 11 “ is top premium also thick . The pelvic partials are pieces and maybe part of an ilium and pubis most likely but not remembered. Only from a few pieces I can see plus shape of other cast indicate this . I just got these this year so selling at my cost as IM unable to prep them with no warehouse. Another person ordered them but he ran into huge financial problems so his loss is your gain .TREX Tibias and Femurs are the two largest bones of a REX . IT has to be shipped on a pallet that is an amazing 68 x 54 “ in a huge crate. I estimate at 1600 lbs so quite heavy but a pallet lift can handle it. Its for someone who wants to prep or have a prepper do it . Keep in mind few TREX bones unprepped are rarely for sale because you can make so much money on this so it’s a chance of a lifetime . A friend just sold a tooth with some restore for $57,000 , and at auction this tooth is appraised at $55-60,000 so this is a buy . When have you ever seen an all natural tooth. I can’t say enough about quality, color, size and originality with overall appearance . I can say this -You would never get a tooth this size for this price. IT was found last year. WE know serrations are naturally worn since small points do exist in most areas. Almost all big teeth have this on serrations especially one this old .Very few teeth exist with this much tooth plus some root but this point tooth is totally complete. I haven’t had an all original one ever. I just can’t believe I have this as this is not only large but an excellent tooth. Words can’t describe how nice and large this tooth is. While lacking the canal, the Centrum is very complete. I have another neck TREX centrum, that is smaller here also even that is better quality. You can tell it’s neck due to 2 inner holes on each side of where the canal is . You can see part of canal on this also .This one has excellent bone quality on the sides, with only a little wear and compression on one side. It is lacking the processes or Id sell it for 7900 like my last one surface. It only has crack fills so 100% original. The large holes on side show TREX also for a neck vert. This is amazingly large, monster, huge centrum. It is actually very nice looking. The sides quality is excellent also so this vert is better than other even though it’s from the same TREX . A TREX was found close to Baker, Montana many years ago with about 10% of the skeleton. It’s the Most Feared Predator of all time and TREX large bones are so hard to get now. This was identified by a top paleontologist in Montana. Overall appearance is very good. There is nothing like this on the market except here. There are 7 Cervical verts and this is one of largest ones you can ever find-larger than the other for sale . This is a great Massive Edmontosaurus Humerus that is 27” Curved and Highly Original. This by far is the most massive Edmo humerus I ever had. This was a huge animal. It’s a top premium bone with only repairs at a few areas and spot fills of resto only on some areas with some crack fills. It has a large coating of penetrant sealant on it to make firm. It displays well straight up on a metal display so it takes very little room. This was found by a dinosaur hunter with a large crew who did the prep work-not me. Its shows a beautiful Hell Creek Dark Brown. IT was an underground find and exhibits all the qualities you want in a bone from monster Edmontosaurus. It doesn’t get much better than this bone. These are the fastest selling hadrosaur bones, I sell poorer quality ones at same price so a great deal. The metal stand alone is worth a lot and holds this bone so well. I sell way smaller ones and no display for 799 . So normally a smaller one with a great display is the same price.
